Refunds
We will notify you once we’ve received and inspected your return, and let you know if the refund was approved or not. If approved, you’ll be automatically refunded on your original payment method within 10 business days. Please remember it can take some time for your bank or credit card company to process and post the refund too.

Refunds and Returns Policy

This Refunds and Returns Policy sets out the terms under which Stockfilms Trading Ltd (“the Company”, “we”, “us”, or “our”) will accept the return of Goods purchased through shop.stockfilms.co.uk (“the Website”) by trade customers (“you”, “your”, or “the Buyer”).

1. Eligibility for Returns
1.1 Returns are accepted solely at the discretion of the Company and must receive prior written authorisation from our sales department before any Goods are returned.
1.2 To request a return, the Buyer must contact the Company within 14 days of delivery, quoting the original order number and reason for return.
1.3 Returns will only be approved for standard stock items that are in a resalable, unused condition, accompanied by the original packaging and documentation.
1.4 Special order items, custom-cut materials, or any non-stock Goods are non‑returnable except where a manufacturing defect is confirmed and acknowledged by the Company.

2. Return Procedure
2.1 Following approval, the Buyer shall return the Goods at their own cost and risk to the address specified by the Company.
2.2 The Buyer must ensure that all returned Goods are securely packaged to prevent damage in transit. The Company accepts no liability for returned Goods lost or damaged prior to receipt at its premises.
2.3 The Company reserves the right to refuse any returned items that do not meet the conditions specified in Clause 1.
2.4 Goods must be received back within 30 days of the original order date.

3. Inspection and Approval
3.1 All returned Goods will be inspected upon arrival. Where the Goods are found to be in acceptable condition and in accordance with the Company’s authorisation, a credit note or replacement will be issued at the Company’s discretion.
3.2 Where returned Goods are found to be used, damaged, or altered, the Company may reduce the credit value accordingly or reject the return in full.

4. Refunds and Credits
4.1 Refunds (where applicable) will be made only to the original payment method used for the purchase or as a credit to the Buyer’s trade account.
4.2 Approved refunds will be processed within 14 working days of the Company’s written confirmation of acceptance.
4.3 The Company is not obliged to refund any delivery, handling, or return carriage charges except where Goods are proven to be faulty or incorrectly supplied.

5. Faulty or Damaged Goods
5.1 The Buyer must notify the Company in writing of any shortage, damage, or visible fault within 48 hours of delivery.
5.2 Failure to notify within this period shall constitute acceptance that the Goods conform to the Contract.
5.3 Where a defect is confirmed, the Company may, at its sole option, repair, replace, or refund the defective Goods.

6. Non‑Compliance with Procedure
Returns received without prior authorisation, or beyond the specified time limits, shall not be accepted and will be returned to the Buyer at their expense or disposed of by the Company after reasonable notice.
